The hours swallowed by the spreadsheet.
Before every management review, the ritual is the same: export the figures from several tools, paste them into a spreadsheet, redo the formulas, check, reformat. This handling takes hours and creates no value: you spend more time building the report than thinking about what it says. Skilled work spent on copy and paste.
Worse, this manual work introduces errors. A column shifted, a formula that does not fill to the bottom, a figure taken from the wrong period, and the decision is made on false data. Because it is such a chore, reporting also ends up happening less often: you steer blind in between, and you find out about problems too late. The cost is not only time, it is less clear sight of your own business.
The report that prepares itself.
We automate the whole reporting chain: collection, calculation, formatting and distribution. The system reads your data where it lives (sales tool, invoicing, spreadsheet, diary), assembles your indicators to your rules, and produces a clean dashboard, presented the way you want. At the frequency you choose, it sends it to you, ready to read, without you opening a file.
We define together the right indicators, the right period, the right format. Once set, it runs without you, on time, without errors.
- Automatic data collection across all your tools
- Indicators calculated by your own rules
- Formatting true to what you want to see
- Sent at the frequency you choose: daily, weekly or monthly
- Same figures, same method, every time
A Monday dashboard.
Picture a weekly report, produced every Monday by a scenario built in n8n.
The trigger is the clock: every Monday at 07:00, the workflow wakes up on its own. First it queries your sources one by one: revenue in your payment tool, orders or appointments in your software, new enquiries in your inbox, outstanding amounts in your invoicing. It gathers it all, then works out your indicators: weekly total, change, average cart value, whatever you have chosen to track. Then it lays it out in the format you prefer (a clear table, a one-page PDF, a structured message), figures in the right places and changes highlighted. Finally, it sends it to you. When you come in on Monday, the report is already waiting, accurate and readable. The result: not another minute spent building the table, figures you can trust because they are always calculated the same way, and real, regular visibility instead of occasional glances.
What feeds the report.
Good reporting feeds on what comes before it: it gets richer when you plug in unpaid invoice follow-up tracking and quote tracking with acceptance rates.
