The audit is free.
You give me your website address. I go through it from top to bottom, then we agree a call where I tell you what I found, in plain language and without jargon. Allow about thirty minutes, and nothing to prepare on your side.
What I look at.
Legal compliance
Legal notice and publisher details, terms of sale, privacy policy, cookie banner and how it actually works, rules around promotions and prize draws, obligations specific to selling online. That is where the real risks are, and it is the director who carries them personally.
Security
HTTPS redirect and certificate, browser protection headers, configuration files or backups left open to the public, archives forgotten in an online folder, exposed forms, outdated versions. The kind of thing you cannot see from the street.
Technical SEO
Title and description tags, duplicates, canonical URLs, sitemap, structured data, redirects from old addresses, duplicate pages served on two URLs, loading speed on a phone, and above all what Google actually shows about you today.
Google Business Profile
Main and secondary categories, consistency between the profile and the site, reviews and how you get them, opening hours, photos, missing information. For a local shop, this is very often what pays off fastest, even before touching the site.
A document, not a quote.
At the end of the call, you get a written document listing what was found, sorted from the most serious to the most trivial, with what each point actually means for you. No score out of 100, no screenshot from an automated tool: readable sentences and priorities.
This document is yours. If you want someone else to work through it, or to deal with the points yourself, that is what it is for. On my side I keep the detailed technical version, the one I work from if you decide to carry on with me.
Three ways to go about it.
Depending on what the audit showed, we take one of these three paths. In every case you get a firm quote, with a written scope and a delivery date. No adjustments along the way.
Upgrade
We keep your site as it is and fix what the audit found: compliance, security, SEO foundations, Google Business Profile. You have nothing to rewrite or relearn, and your site does not change how it looks. It is half the benefit for a fraction of the budget, and very often that is enough.
Redesign
For when the site is too dated to be salvaged, or unreadable on a phone. We start again from your content, keep what works, and redirect every old address cleanly to the new one so that none of the visibility already earned is lost. That is the point where most rebuilds go wrong.
Creation
A clear, fast showcase site that loads on a phone in the middle of the street and makes people want to call you. Delivered compliant and searchable from day one, with the required legal notices, the sitemap, structured data and the Google Business Profile connected. Rather than patched up two years later.
No prices shown here, and that is deliberate: a five-page site and an online shop are nothing alike. The costing comes after the audit, when I know what we are talking about.
In person in Lyon, elsewhere by video call.
The workshop is in Lyon 3e and I travel free of charge within a 30 km radius, which covers the metropolitan area. For a website, being there in person is not necessary: the audit, the call and the follow-up work perfectly well remotely, anywhere in France. On-site visits I keep for automation, where you need to see the tools running on site.
If you are mainly looking to automate your business, it is this way, and your trade probably already has its own page on the automation hub.
